Evo.NET Application Overview

Evo.NET is a web frontend for the desktop accounting software application Sage 200 Evolution. Evo.NET provides the features and functionality users are familiar with while also making the application accessible across the Internet on any device without any additional installation or configuration.

Evo.NET is a Single Page Application (SPA) so it feels more like a desktop application than a traditional web site does. Once the application is loaded the only communication with the server is to exchange data so it is fast and responsive.

Navigation of the Evo.NET application is provided by an intuitive navigator and menu system. Functionality is found where you are used to finding it so there is little additional learning needed to use the application.

Evo.NET implements the core Evolution Modules: General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Inventory, as well as many of the dependant sub-modules, such as Order Entry, Warehousing, Serial Numbers, Discount Matrix, Segmented GL Accounts, Foreign Currency, Lot Tracking, with more to follow. You will start by logging into a company.

Reporting is where Evo.NET stands out, not only incorporating a Report Layout Editor for standard reports, but also includes a full-feature Report Writer where reports can be created from scratch using a query designer or from raw SQL and laid out with many powerful design and functional features, and a Report Runner where those custom reports can be easily run.

Users and access can be controlled in the Evolution Administration section, where customisable User Groups can be created to specify which features an Agent can see and access.

Thorough auditing and logging is built into Evo.NET. Every action made though the API is recorded and logs can be viewed in the System Administration area.
